What determines a ball to be out in tennis?

In tennis, several factors determine whether a ball is considered "out." The ball is out if it lands outside the boundary lines of the court. Also, if the ball hits the net and doesn't bounce onto the opponent's side, it's deemed out. The ball must bounce in the opponent's side of the court for it to be in play. Additionally, if the ball hits a player before it bounces, it's also considered out.
